Shibashi brings joy and calm, through the connection of meditative movement and breathing. Shibashi is a gentle, relaxing & flowing series of 18 movements, based on the Yang Family Tai Chi movements and traditional Qigong breathing and movements.

Considered the national health exercise in Malaysia and Indonesia, millions around the world have found positive health impacts with Shibashi. It makes a great exercise sequence on its own and works well as a warm-up sequence for people that are playing longer Tai Chi forms or preparing for other physical activities.

In each class, we will review what we have already covered and learn a few additional movements, until we have covered all of the movements. I will provide handouts to help you remember the movements, so you can practice between and after the classes.
